Emulating Wireless Connections

You can emulate wireless connections to test that your application uses them correctly. In the Wireless LAN view, you can specify the network name, signal strength, media access control (MAC) address, and state of the wireless LAN (connected or disconnected).

"Wireless LAN settings"

You can use example scripts to emulate weakening signals (wlan.qs) and roaming (wlan_roaming.qs). The roaming script disconnects from the access point, waits one second, changes the access point name, and reconnects after waiting another second. You can edit the scripts to match your test cases or create new scripts.
