Apple Safari
In the latest Safari version, WebRTC is turned on by default. You cannot turn it off in the settings, and therefore only extensions and VPNs can block WebRTC.
Disable extensions
To disable extensions that might block WebRTC:
- Go to Safari > Settings.
- Select Extensions.
- To turn off WebRTC extensions and VPN clients, clear their checkboxes.
Examples of widely-used WebRTC control extensions:
- WebRTC Control
- WebRTC Network Limiter
- WebRTC Protect - Protect IP Leak
- WebRTC Leak Prevent
Examples of widely-used VPN clients:
- NordVPN
- ProtonVPN
- PureVPN
- Windscribe
