L'interface QtTextInputMethodManager correspond à l'interface qt-text-input-method-manager dans le protocole d'extension qt-text-input-method-unstable-v1. Elle est spécifiquement conçue pour être utilisée avec une méthode d'entrée basée sur Qt Designer, telle que Qt Virtual Keyboard.
L'instanciation de cette interface en tant qu'enfant d'une WaylandCompositor l'ajoute à la liste des interfaces disponibles pour le client. Si un client se lie à cette interface, elle sera utilisée pour communiquer la saisie de texte à ce client.
