「マスター・ディテール」の例では、同じアプリケーション内で異なるデータソースからのデータを表示する方法を示しています。アルバムのタイトル、およびそれに対応するアーティスト名とリリース日はデータベースに格納されており、各アルバムの収録曲はXMLファイルに保存されています。
また、このサンプルでは、Qt SQL モジュールおよびQt XML モジュールがそれぞれ提供するAPIを使用して、データベースと関連するXMLファイルの両方からデータを追加および削除する方法も示しています。
