Diagnose failing license reservations
A license reservation involves both sides of the system: Qt License Service on the developer's computer requests a seat, and Qt License Server grants it. When a reservation fails, work out which side is at fault before digging deeper.
- If reservations fail for a single user or workstation, start with Diagnose Qt License Service.
- If reservations fail for everyone, start with the server diagnostics for your server type below.
With Cloud Qt License Server, Qt hosts and monitors the server, so there are no server-side diagnostics to run. Start with Diagnose Qt License Service and contact Qt Support if the problem persists.
The following topics describe how to diagnose Qt License Server.
| Topic | Description |
|---|---|
| Diagnose On-Prem Qt License Server | Diagnose issues with an On-Prem Qt License Server instance. |
| Diagnose Offline Qt License Server | Diagnose issues with an Offline Qt License Server instance. |
