Qt WebEngine Licence

Le module Qt WebEngine utilise Chromium pour fournir la plupart de ses fonctionnalités. Au cours du processus de construction, Chromium devient une partie de la bibliothèque Qt WebEngine Core. Par conséquent, lors de la distribution de Qt WebEngine, les utilisateurs doivent respecter à la fois les licences de la partie Qt WebEngine développée dans le cadre du projet Qt, ainsi que les licences qui font partie de Chromium.

Les parties du module Qt WebEngine spécifiques à Qt sont disponibles sous licence commerciale auprès de The Qt Company. Elles sont également disponibles sous la licence GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0, la licence GNU General Public License v3.0 ou la licence GNU General Public License v2.0.

La partie Chromium contient du code disponible sous diverses licences, la licence la plus restrictive étant la GNU Lesser General Public License v2.1 (LGPL 2.1). Pour une liste complète, voir les licences tierces ci-dessous.

Se conformer à la LGPL 2.1

La société Qt XML autorise les clients commerciaux à distribuer le code source du module Qt WebEngine avec les binaires Qt WebEngine, et permet aux destinataires de personnaliser et de construire Qt WebEngine à partir des sources. Cela inclut la construction et l'utilisation d'un tel Qt WebEngine modifié avec une application ou un système utilisant un Qt sous licence commerciale.

La société Qt maintient également les parties spécifiques à Qt du module Qt WebEngine disponibles sous la licence GNU Lesser General Public License v3.0, ou la licence GNU General Public License v3.0, ou la licence GNU General Public License v2.0, même si WebEngine est publié dans le cadre d'une version de support à long terme (LTS, voir également les versions de support à long terme) à caractère exclusivement commercial.

Note : Toutes les licences GPL listées ci-dessous ne sont utilisées que pour accéder aux ressources du système Linux. Les bibliothèques et plugins de Qt WebEngine ne sont pas liés à du code binaire sous GPL et ne le distribuent pas, et cela n'affecte pas les utilisateurs de Qt WebEngine.
