iOSシミュレータでのテスト
iOSデバイスを所有していない場合や、アカウントを作成したくない場合は、Xcodeの一部としてインストールされているシミュレータでアプリケーションをテストできます。各Xcodeバージョンは、あらかじめ定義されたハードウェアデバイスとソフトウェアバージョンの組み合わせをシミュレートします。
シミュレートするハードウェアおよびソフトウェアのバージョンを変更するには、「Projects 」＞「Run Settings 」に移動し、「Device type 」フィールドでシミュレートするデバイスを選択します。
アプリケーションを実行すると、シミュレータは自動的に起動します。シミュレータを手動で起動するには、Spotlightから「Simulator」アプリケーションを直接起動するか、Xcodeで「Xcode 」＞「Open Developer Tool 」の順に選択してください。
Xcodeで利用可能なシミュレータデバイスを管理します。
