1.2.2. IDE Plugins

The IDE plugins can be used to view analysis results stored in the Dashboard directly from within your IDE. Furthermore, the plugins enable you to trigger local analysis runs.

The following IDEs are supported:

• Eclipse

• Visual Studio

• Visual Studio Code

• CLion

• Qt Creator

In evaluation mode, no username/password is needed to access the Dashboard from an IDE plugin.

1.2.2.1. Limitations

The IDE plugins function mostly as usual; however, since the Dashboard Server listens only on the local network interface, you can only evaluate IDE plugins running on the same host as the server.
