상세 설명
밀란코비치 달력 또는 공식적으로는 새 달력이라고도 하는 개정 율리우스력은 1923년 세르비아 과학자 밀루틴 밀란코비치가 개발 및 제안한 달력으로, 이를 채택한 동방 정교회가 승인한 날짜 명명법과 전 세계적으로 지배적이었던 그레고리력 사이의 340년간의 차이를 효과적으로 종식시킨 달력입니다. 이 달력은 지금까지 모든 동방 정교회에서 사용하던 율리우스력을 기반으로 한 교회력을 대체하기 위한 것이었습니다. 개정 율리우스력은 1582년 교황 그레고리 13세가 기독교계에서 채택하기 위해 선포한 그레고리력에 일시적으로 날짜를 맞췄습니다. 이 달력은 콘스탄티노플, 알바니아, 알렉산드리아, 안디옥, 불가리아, 키프로스, 그리스, 폴란드, 루마니아의 정교회에서 채택했습니다.
