Prerequisites
Before you install Qt License Server or Qt License Service, take care of the required steps.
Ensure you have:
- A Qt Account for the license administrator.
- A permission from Qt to download the license management tools. To contact Qt Support, go to Qt Customer Portal, select Support Center, and Create a request.
- Valid licenses in your Qt Account.
- For On-Prem Qt License Server and Offline Qt License Server: SSL certificates from an official Certificate Authority. Required for SSL communication between the clients and the Qt License Server instance.
- For Offline Qt License Server: An
entitlement.jsonfile from Qt Customer Portal.
