Choose your server type
The instructions for installing, configuring, and administering Qt License Server depend on which server type your organization uses. For a comparison of the types, see Server types.
| Server type | Start here |
|---|---|
| Cloud Qt License Server | Qt hosts the server. There is nothing to install on your side, so go straight to Install client-side tools and then Manage licenses. |
| On-Prem Qt License Server | You host the server and it synchronizes with the Qt cloud. Start with Install On-Prem Qt License Server. |
| Offline Qt License Server | You host the server with no internet connection. Start with Install Offline Qt License Server. |
