ユリウス暦
ユリウス暦は、ユリウス・カエサルが紀元前46年（AUC708年）に提唱したローマ暦の改革である。紀元前45年1月1日（AUC 709）に勅令によって発効した。1582年にローマ教皇グレゴリウス13世によって公布されたグレゴリオ暦に改良され、徐々に取って代わられるまで、ユリウス暦はローマ世界、ヨーロッパの大部分、アメリカ大陸やその他の地域のヨーロッパ人入植地で主流だった。
ユリウス暦は、平均熱帯年に対して128年に1日の割合で誤差が生じる。グレゴリオ暦では3030年に1日である。ユリウス暦（365.25日）とグレゴリオ暦（365.2425日）の1年の平均の長さの差は0.002%である。
