snooze

snooze(seconds)

This function tells Squish to sleep for the specified nominal number of seconds. The seconds argument can be a whole number or a floating-point number. The actual sleep time will depend on the current snoozeFactor. Unless you really do need to force Squish to sleep, it is usually more robust to use the Object waitForObject(objectOrName) function than to use snooze.

The snoozeFactor can be set using the Squish IDE. Click Window > Preferences to invoke the Preferences dialog, then click the Squish item, and then the Playback item and then set the Snooze Factor value. The snoozeFactor can also be set by using squishrunner's command line options. See squishrunner: Recording a Test Case and Executing a Test Case (Advanced).
