Version 4.2.0
Test Center 4.2.0 is a minor release that primarily focusses on increasing the flexibility of the test plan feature by providing a new Execution API. The release also delivers some performance improvements and visual updates including a new dark theme.
Execution API
The new Execution API simplifies integrating test plans and your CI system. You can learn more about integrating test plans and CI systems here.
This feature increases the flexibility of the Squish test execution introduced in version 4.0.0 and now also allows to use it with Squish tests that are not setup to work with a remote squishserver
Dark Theme
We updated the color scheme of Test Center and introduced a new dark theme. By default Test Center will follow your browser or operating systems preference, follow this link to learn how to switch between themes.
Performance Improvements
We increased the responsiveness of Test Center, especially with many parallel uploads and bigger databases the user interface should now remain more responsive. To achieve this we optimized the database settings. The updated settings will be applied automatically, also to existing databases.
Note: The updated settings will lead to additional database files being generated. Next to the database file there are now shm
and wal
files, make sure those are included in your backups.
